What do you call "A sweet drink containing carbonated water and flavoring?"

Response Summary
Coke 15%
Cola 0%
Pop 30%
Soda 49%
Sodapop 2%
Other 4%

Looks like soda is the most popular answer, being used throughout the country with a higher concentration in the East. Pop is a Western word, with not a single Eastern response being pop. Coke is mostly a Southern word, while cola and sodapop are barely used at all.

Other responses included "flavored water" in Ohio, and two write-ins of "tonic" from Massachusetts. There were six write-ins for "soft drink", with two of those write-ins from Louisiana. Someone else wrote in to tell me they only drink "Coke" products (thanks for sharing).
