What do you call the plastic container used to carry laundry to and from the washing machine and dryer?

This question was a matter of personal interest. My friend and his family say 'bushel', and I say 'basket'. I wanted to find out if anyone else out there says 'bushel'. My friend was the only one who answered 'bushel'.

Interestingly, a lot of people gave a write-in of 'hamper', which just doesn't fit the definition at all.

I didn't include this question in the new survey. I think the results of the first survey sufficiently proved my point that no one but my friend says 'bushel'.
