If someone moves into a line of people or things out of turn, they _____ in line.

This is my favorite question. Where I'm from, we say 'budge'. It didn't even occur to me that that wasn't normal until I started interacting with people from other places. And this map illustrates it very well: Only people in northern and western New York say 'budge'. No one else does. 'Cut' and 'butt' were the most popular answers to this question. So I guess now I'm from someplace weird. :)
